Finished DIY concrete knob hook screw thingie!

It's so cute!  Isn't it?!  Awwww!

If you remember from the other day, I was making these little concrete knob hooky things that will screw into the wall or fence or whatever, wherever, ya know, stuff.  Places.  Hang things.

My mold container wasn't exactly square or true, as you can see the slight twist in the final product, but hey, handmade stuff isn't meant to be perfect, right?  Right.

I popped the little cutie out of the mold twenty four hours later as it seemed pretty well set.  I think it needed some air to breathe and cure up, which is what it's in the process of doing now.

So yeah, my mold survived which is great.  I think I can probably get at least one, if not two more out of it before I have to make another.  Which isn't a problem since I want to vary the sizes.  I already spied a half and half container in the fridge and just finished up a smaller cream container.

In other news....

I made a curtain for the upstairs guest room but don't like it.  More on that some time this week I'm sure.

I was standing in the shower, thinking, on Saturday and it smacked me upside the face that I desperately need to get rid of these original paint colors around the house.  They're clouding my mind and making me woebegone.  More on that this week I'm sure too.

In the mean time, gotta get dinner out of the oven!
